Management Accountant – Permanent / Full Time
An ACCA/ACA/ACMA studier is required to join a growing small AIM listed PLC. As a key part of the Finance team you will be assisting the Financial Controller in all areas of this manufacturing and project based group’s financial operations which stretch across multiple locations and companies. An ideal environment to develop a career in SME Finance.
The role will have real breadth, supported by an experienced senior team:
- Monthly Management Accounts preparation including commentary and analysis
- Annual preparation of Statutory and Consolidated accounts
- Regular cash flow reporting
- Credit control, Purchase and sales ledgers
- Accruals and prepayments
- Research and Development analysis and reporting
- VAT and other statutory returns
- Day to day supervision of a small processing team
- Problem solving with significant cross departmental interaction
The key skills you will be able to demonstrate at interview are:
- Excellent double entry accounting skills
- Comfortable with fully integrated ERP systems (SAP B1 advantageous)
- Fully proficient in excel (including pivot tables / lookups etc.)
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work with colleagues at all levels and within different functions in a multi-disciplined environment
- An ability to seek cost savings wherever they may be found
- Accurate and methodical in data analysis
- Ability to meet deadlines whilst handle multiple competing priorities
