As a growing, global manufacturing company, they are looking to recruit an outgoing and approachable part qualified management accountant to join the team in Stroud. The role will be varied and hands on and provide a great opportunity for the successful candidate to further their career whilst completing their studies.
Tasks will include:
- Weekly and monthly KPI’s
- Processing journals and reconciling nominal accounts
- Maintenance of Fixed asset registers and calculating depreciation
- Intercompany transactions
- Opening/Closing stock and WIP
- Running month end processes, closing ledgers and backing up data
- Updating forecasts, budgets, cash flows and KPI’s and issuing to appropriate stakeholders
- EC Sales and Intrastat declarations
- Quarterly VAT submissions and journals
- Additional year end tasks and working alongside accountants to ensure all data is accurate and available
- Submission of confirmation statements
- Supporting and developing Finance Assistant
The successful candidate will:
- Be a part qualified accountant (CIMA/ACCA) with the desire to complete their studies
- Have experience in producing management accounts and using accounts software such as Sage
- Be a clear and concise communicator with the ability to express information to colleagues
- Have excellent organisational and time management skills
This will be a full time position based in the beautiful head office building in Rodborough with parking available.
There will be an attractive study support package and a salary of £24-£27,000 per anum (doe) for the position. They will also consider applicants looking to work reduced hours, anything from 30 and above, with the salary being pro-rata’d accordingly.
