A new and unique opportunity has been created for an enthusiastic, constantly improving, electrician to join this small, but rapidly expanding team.

This company undertakes a variety of work including maintenance to the high-end luxury retail sector at designer stores in London and Bicester Village. They make a difference, using the right processes to achieve the best results for the client. They take care them as they understand how important their responsibility is to them.

As well as being competent and confident at carrying out electrical maintenance and installation, a knowledge of testing, including certification, will be required. You’ll get on with the job yourself and take the responsibility for making sure it doesn’t fail or fall short of the company standards.

Excellent communication skills along with tidy presentation are a must, as this is a client facing role and as such you will be dealing with a wide range of people. The position includes a branded uniform and use of a vehicle with fuel card.

Primary duties & competencies
- Electrical Maintenance & installation (inc. regular emergency lighting testing)
- Testing, including certification
- Committed & self-motivated, capable of working as part of a team
- Conscientious to work on your own initiative for the best interests of the company
- Reliable & punctual
- Tidy, presentable
- Respectful to team members and clients
- Able to get paperwork submitted promptly via supplied iPad
- Problem solver
- Right to work in the UK

Qualifications
Essential:
- Electrician 17th / 18th Edition with a knowledge of testing
- City & Guilds Level 3 Electrical Installation
- Excellent communication with a command of English with excellent organisational skills
- Basic IT skills
- Full UK driving licence

Desirable:
- Asbestos awareness
- CSCS/ECS card

Hours & Remuneration
- Permanent, with overtime as required
- Core hours: 08:00 to 16:30
- Pension
- Experience:, 3-5years
- Job location: Mostly central London, but occasionally countrywide.

The successful applicant will enjoy working to deadlines, you will be solving problems, making sure nothing is left unfinished or unsafe, be passionate about your work and have the ability to the complete work as needed. Occasionally, you will be required to do out of hours work, therefore flexibility and the desire to work overtime is preferred. However, an emergency call-out rota will be developed with growth of the company.

There will be plenty of scope for the successful candidate to be able to work to high agreed standards with little supervision, and to be considered for promotion.
