This company is one of the largest, independent, family owned, livestock and specialty feed manufacturers in the UK. Founded in 1873.

The Mill operates both nights & days, therefore the working pattern available is four shifts on four days off, across both nights and days. They are looking for candidates who can be flexible towards the needs of the business.

If you have experience as a maintenance engineer and ideally working within a mill or a heavy industrial location they would love to hear from you.

Job Responsibilities:

As a maintenance engineer you will be responsible for the continuous running of equipment and machinery, both with planned maintenance or break downs repairs.

You will use computerised system Piranha to log and to oversee all routine maintenance and organise repairs.

You will evaluate mechanical and electromechanical systems and products by applying principles of mechanics, thermodynamics, hydraulics, heat transfer and materials to design continuous improvements .

You will develops manufacturing processes by designing and modifying equipment for fabricating, building, assembling, and installing components.

Maintains product and company reputation by complying with government regulations.

Keeps equipment and therefore production operational by coordinating maintenance and repair services; following established procedures

Multi Skilled Engineer, skills and Qualifications:
