Maintenance Engineer - Volume Manufacturing
This is a great role in a great modern company. This excellent well established high volume and profitable manufacturing company in Staffordshire is currently seeking a number of dynamic Maintenance Engineers to work within their experienced engineering team. Relevant industry background is not important but ability and multi skilled experience is.
The role (4 on 4 off, days, nights)
- You will work on a wide variety of equipment carrying out both reactive and planned preventative maintenance.
- Undertake project work, continuous improvement opportunities, and other value added services.
-Assist in the installation of new equipment to the site
-Ensure you have received all the necessary training and development to enable you to work on all production equipment.
-Maintain Health & Safety regulations.
The candidate
- You will possess good analytical skills with the ability to break down and solve engineering problems in a logical and structured manner.
- Time served multi skilled or with equivalent qualifications, you will have the ability to work on your own initiative and as part of a team with minimal supervision.
- With a real can-do attitude you will bring your individual difference to the business, while appreciating the diversity within the team, you will pay meticulous attention to detail and be able to prioritise your work and deal with high pressure situations and ambiguous issues.
- You will have a relentless pace in driving your own personal development, whether that is further developing your technical expertise or wanting to progress into leadership or project management roles.

This position is commutable from Stoke on Trent, Crewe, Macclesfield, Buxton, Leek, Derby, Uttoxeter and surrounding areas. Relocation is also available if necessary.
The role is open to those with good spoken English, currently resident in the UK and entitled to work within this country.
