We love making fabrics. We design and manufacture upholstery and panel textiles for every space and sector, from commercial and education, to healthcare and hospitality, to passenger transport including bus, coach and rail.

Our expertise

We make more than 8 million metres of fabric a year. Our team of innovators design and make some of the world's most adventurous and environmentally sensitive fabrics. Our expertise covers wool spinning and polypropylene yarn manufacturing, yarn dyeing, weaving on dobby, jacquard and plush looms, technical knitting, textile finishing and upholstery services.

Purpose:
- Produce products to the agreed specification by following processes
- Quality checking to ensure a quality product is knitted and delivered to the customer
- Maintain Stoll machines to in accordance with standard working practices to ensure smooth running operation and efficiency of the machine
- Ensure a smooth shift handover by attending daily meetings
- Change over machines to ensure smooth running of the manufacturing process

Education / Skills / Knowledge / Experience:
- Some PC skills with a basic knowledge of Word and Excel
- Previous experience, or an understanding of, continuous improvement initiatives
- Experience within a production environment and/or machine operator role would be beneficial

Hours / shift pattern - You will be working a 3- week rotational working pattern as detailed below:
- Week 1: Monday to Friday: 06:00 – 14:00
- Week 2: Monday to Friday: 14:00 – 22:00
- Week 3: Sunday to Thursday: 22:00 – 06:00
