The Role:
Working as part of a very busy sales administration department, key daily functions include:
- Plan and maximise vehicle routes and speed of order to inspection to collection to payment cycle
- Liaise with, negotiate and manage relations with customers, dealers and suppliers
- Use IT systems to manage stock levels, delivery times and transport costs
- Use associated information systems to coordinate and control the order cycle
- Use data from IT systems to evaluate performance and quality and to plan improvements
- Allocate and manage staff resources according to changing needs
- Manage staff
- Develop business by gaining new contacts and contracts, analysing logistics problems and producing new solutions
- Understand, work with and help to develop e-commerce
- Continually try to develop and improve business performance within the constraints of legislation, fuel and man powers costs and other
- Implement health and safety procedures
- Manage staff training issues
- Set objectives

- Be able to demonstrate a proven successful track record in a very fast-paced logistics function.
- Have strong organisational skills
- Have strong communication skills
- Have excellent PC skills, process driven
