Night Porter required on a LIVE-IN basis for a ten bedroom boutique hotel in Gosforth. Newcastle upon Tyne.
Previous hospitality experience is essential.
Rent is included in Salary.
Therefore, no rent or bills to pay.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Monday - Friday 6am - 7 am / 5pm - 10pm unless late check in
- Sundays from 6pm checking in guests only
Your duties will include,
- Reception work taking calls and making bookings.
Bar work.
- Set up of hotel breakfast room ready for morning service.
- Late night check ins for guests arriving after hours and other services required for guests.
- Cleaning of all areas.
- Security checks throughout shift and reception duty.
- They are looking for a self-driven and well organised individual to work independently without supervision. Previous hotel experience is essential.
- Has to be efficient throughout the evening
Night time is a perfect time to plan and prepare for the next day’s business as well as looking ahead to the rest of the week, so this job role is extremely important to us.
