A successful SaaS company, based in Tunbridge Wells, is looking for a techie who is interested in training up to be a Technical Support / DevOps Engineer. You will be working with Android, iOS Apps and Cloud Computing.

As a Technical Support Engineer, your main duties / responsibilities will be:

- Speaking to clients, troubleshooting and resolving their technical problems
- Confirming, diagnosing and resolving technical issues
- Handling operational alerts and escalating issues to in-house teams as required
- Collaborating with developers: reporting bugs and suggesting new features

In order to be successful for this role, you need the following experience / skills:

- Excellent communication skills (written and spoken)
- Comfortable speaking to people on the phone
- An interest in providing technical support to customers
- Experience with installation and administration of Linux
- Basic scripting skills

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who wants to gain more DevOps / Systems skills, but also enjoys speaking to people and helping resolve issues. There will be a great opportunity to build up relationships and to gain a deeper understanding of how technology impacts customers and businesses.

You should be ideally located within 15 miles Royal Tunbridge Wells
