A Lettings Property Valuer is required to join an independent Estate and Letting Agents.
You may be an experienced Negotiator who is ready to take the next step to a Valuer role, or you may already be an experienced Lettings Valuer.
Experience in lettings is essential as providing accurate rental valuations and advising landlords on market trends and legislative requirements are key parts of this role.
You must be extremely self-motivated, positive, well presented and with great communication skills.

Role responsibilities:

- Listen to client’s needs, offer advice, then organise and attend rental valuations
- Generate new and repeat business opportunities for valuations, instructions and viewings
- Advertise properties with accurate and appealing descriptions and photographs
- Maintain regular contact with existing customers to build a strong relationship, maintain the current portfolio level and generate further business activity
- Advise landlords on current housing legislation
- Research the current market and competitor activity on a regular basis
- Provide landlords with regular feedback
- Assist with launching new initiatives and services
- Assist with Landlord newsletters and be “the face” of the company
- Deal with tenant notices to leave and re-market properties as necessary
- Attend daily morning meetings, communicate information as necessary to colleagues regarding new properties
- Report on performance and market trends
- Serve Section 13 rent increase notices
- Assist with office cover as necessary, answer the telephone, general emails and deal with customers face to face
- General administration

- Ambitious, reliable and trustworthy
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
- Customer focused
- Computer literate
- Excellent organisation, prioritisation and planning skills
- Self-motivated with a “can do” attitude
- Well presented
- Full UK driving licence

The Position

This is a full time, permanent position working at the Penarth office. You will be required to work Monday to Friday from 9am until 5:30pm. Some Saturday working and additional hours may be required from time to time to meet the needs of the client or the business.

The salary is negotiable depending on experience and will be packaged as a basic salary, plus bonus and a company car.
