This very established Estate Agent is currently looking for someone to join their letting team as a Letting Administrator, you must be a quick learner, be willing to learn and develop, and to be a helpful, friendly and strong character, being able to get on with the office team and clients is a must.

The role is to deal with many day to day administrational matters some of which are listed below, they are based in the very busy and rapidly growing area of South East London, they work both sides of the river covering Woolwich, Thamesmead, Blackheath, Greenwich and all surrounding areas as well as Canary Wharf and the Docklands. They have been trading for 12 years and plan to continue growing the business over the next 10 years which is very exciting for us and all current and future staff

The role is office based mainly but you will need to go out from time to time so you will need to have your own car, all fuel will be covered of course, experience in an office based Admin environment , Training for this particular role will be provided.

The right person needs to be hard working, quick to pick up and learn new things, good with administration, good time management and easy to get on with as you will be dealing with a lot of owners and residents so the right attitude is essential to deal with all situations. The work isn’t hard to learn and for the right person it’s a great lifelong industry to get into.

The hours will be 9am to 6pm Monday to Thursday and 9am to 5 pm Friday, you will also be required to work 2 or 3 Saturdays per month, with a day off in lieu.

Responsibilities:

- Answering the phone.
- Tenancy renewals.
- General administration.
- Rental Warranties.
- References for Tenants leaving.
- Dealing with deposit registrations and returns.
- Deposit disputes.
- Lettings move in paperwork.
- Helping other staff colleagues.
- Covering viewings for Sales and Lettings if required.

Must drive and have own car.

The ideal person in my view would live locally, have a good background of administration or have worked in an Estate Agency but this isn’t essential, and very importantly you must have an easy going and friendly personality, this is vital for all their clients and the staff
