This is an exciting opportunity to work with this national development agencies growing Learning & Talent Development Team to support their exciting programme of education, participation and exhibition activities and work on their craft centre. The successful candidate will be confident at engaging diverse audiences in meaningful and empowering ways.

Duties

- Support Learning & Participation colleagues to deliver their Learning & Participation programmes through administrative support, as a first point of contact and through team coordination
- Work with colleagues to ensure that all opportunities are accessible and shared to diverse audiences
- Organise, book, prepare and minute internal and external meetings, including reminders
- Coordinate team systems and planning by sending reminders of important organisational deadlines, maintaining the team calendar and Gantt chart and planning monthly team meetings
- Support event planning processes such as liaison with partners and colleagues to finalise venue bookings and programme dates and acting as point of contact for smooth delivery of events as well as assistance at events themselves
- Provide paperwork for all elements of the Learning & Participation activities, ensuring that information is returned and database records are kept up-to-date.
- Act as a first point of contact for programme participants, contractors and partners, deal with phone and website enquiries and produce replies to email correspondence, including daily management of a generic inbox
- Work with the organisation-wide database to add and update records regularly, and pull reports and mailing lists
- Capture, review and share feedback from participants of Learning & Participation programmes to inform development of programmes
- Support communication processes for team, including social media posts for this craft centre, proof-reading and copy writing for team newsletters, work with the Communications team on MailChimp and email merges
- Update and monitor team budgets, ensuring that programme expenditure is recorded accurately.
- Maintain team calendars and project planners and support team members with their diary planning, preparing materials, and travel bookings.
- Carry out general administrative work including record keeping, expenditure logging, inputting Key Performance Indicators data, mail merging, digital and physical filing, and archiving.
- Work closely with colleagues across this agency to ensure the organisation-wide approach to Learning & Talent Development programmes is coherent.
- Undertake any other duty which may be reasonably allocated by the Head of Learning & Talent Development and other members of the team

This position may include occasional evening and weekend work.
