This business manages critical incidents in the car and home on behalf of the world’s leading insurers, brokers and fleet managers, together with warranty and service plan provision for automotive manufacturers.

They are looking for an experienced L&D Business Partner at their offices in Whiteley to understand the training needs of the business and design/deliver learning and development solutions that enable people to learn and implement the knowledge, skills and behaviours required.

- Work with managers and employees to devise individual and team training plans based on the training needs analysis.
- Partner relevant subject matter experts and third parties, and take the design lead in the development of interventions which include technical, process, soft skills, regulatory, first line management training and behavioural training.
- Deliver effective group, 121 and bespoke learning interventions (classroom based workshops, coaching, side by side training and observation) appropriate to the audience and based on meaningful learning outcomes.
- Accurately prepare and complete all necessary training administration and records.
- Maintain the e-learning system and highlight retraining requirements in safety-critical skills and compliance areas.
- Monitor, review and evaluate the progress of trainees through appropriate evaluation method, including feedback with employees and managers.
- Deal with incoming L&D enquiries. Follow up on enquiries and schedule, design and if applicable deliver the training requested.
- Ensure process flows and knowledge guides for all relevant departmental activities are completely up to date, maintained and reflect best practice.
- Facilitate and enhance company corporate on boarding and inductions.
- Remain up to date both professionally and technically with internal processes and systems, to ensure you meet with statutory regulations and requirements.
- Build and maintain positive working relationships with all internal customers, clients and other colleagues, ensuring that we are providing learning and development interventions that help others deliver their objectives and business priorities.

What skills and experience do you need?
- Ability to design and deliver quality training programmes tailored for the appropriate business units
- Excellent communication, influencing and relationship building skills
- Experience working in an insurance claims (ideally Motor claims) environment an advantage
- Diplomatic, pragmatic, credible and trustworthy
- A strong team player – working collaboratively and with confidence at all levels
- Strong problem solving, planning and organisational skills
- Flexible and adaptable to change
- Outstanding attention to detail and levels of accuracy
- A self-starter, able to work with ambiguity
- Good understanding of Microsoft packages mainly Word, PowerPoint and Excel.
- A formal and recognised training design/delivery qualification or CIPD qualification would be desirable
