They have an exciting opportunity for an individual who is highly motivated, with a proven track record of learner engagement, advice and guidance. The role is a full time, permanent, target driven role, pivotal to the ambitious growth plans at the business. The role will be based initially at their Beeston site, with travel to other sites, employers and partners throughout the East Midlands, therefore a full driving licence and a car is essential.

The Role

You will be engaging learners aged 16+ onto a wide range of Education and Skills Funding Agency (ESFA) and European Social Fund (ESF) projects. You will build and maintain beneficial relationships with local Job Centres, community groups, schools and other key stakeholder agencies across the East Midlands to promote our pre-employment and training opportunities. You will provide group and one-to-one information sessions, careers advice and guidance to customers, signposting them to the most appropriate training programmes.

You will ensure that classroom based learning is planned to meet local demands and all courses are promoted, and accurate dates and timelines are communicated to stakeholders.

The Individual

You will have outgoing and engaging networking skills, with proven experience of working with a high level of autonomy. You will be able to communicate effectively with proven experience of working with people aged 16+, job centres and other lead referral agencies.

In depth understanding of NEET and Employability Programmes as well as experience of Traineeship Sector based Work Academies. Level 3 in Information Advice & Guidance is desirable.
