An exciting new business is coming to the health and pharmaceutical industry and
they want you to be part of it!
This recently funded technology based start-up will transform
pharmacies all over the UK into virtual GP surgeries, allowing patients to get a
medical assessment, a prescription and the medication they need on a grab and go
basis.
They are currently building out a world class development team to deliver on this
vision. To that end they are currently recruiting a senior JAVA developer to help lead
our Server side development.
Responsibilities
- Lead their server side development effort reporting directly to their CTO
- Assist in key architectural designs
- Ensure their platform meets all security and encryption requirements
- Help build out the team to deliver on the company’s technical goals
Required Skills
- Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or relevant discipline (relevant experience will be considered if you don't have degree)
- Right to work in the UK
- 3- 5 years JAVA and Web Development (Preferably Spring or Dropwizard)
- Spring Boot REST API Development
- JPA (Hibernate), Jersey (JAX-RS),
- Security and Encryption Experience,
- Experience of working with AngularJS SPA front ends and Mobile end points
Nice to Have
- Elastic Search (ELK Stack) and Graph Databases
- Jenkins, Docker and Protractor
- AWS and Linux Sys Admin
Interview Process
Short 15 minute phone/skype call to assess suitability for both sides followed by a
1-2 hour interview including a technical assessment questions.
