A Lead Generation Specialist is required to join a specialist provider of high quality business and market intelligence to the financial, media and technology sectors. They provide a range of research services covering a number of high growth markets, including mobile telecoms, Fintech, IoT and new disruptive digital technologies.

They have an enviable client list that includes many of the world’s leading brands. They thrive on helping their clients untangle complex digital markets and map out the future of the industry. The client base is primarily located overseas, with a key presence in Europe and North America.

The team is based in central Basingstoke, in the heart of the M3 tech corridor. They offer outstanding opportunities to develop new skills and knowledge whilst benefiting from working within a positive, high growth environment. They foster a strong team culture and value their staff.

Background

As a result of consistent year on year growth, they are currently expanding. In order to continue their growth, they require an energetic and confident Lead Generation Specialist. You will be tasked with generating new business opportunities across their product range.

This is a fantastic opportunity for either an aspiring or an experienced lead generator. You must thrive on hitting targets and developing new business opportunities. Key Requirements

- Generating New Business Opportunities – Contact and develop new sales opportunities for senior sales staff. You will be expected to consistently hit and exceed targets, contacting leads by phone and email.

- CRM Management & Reporting – Building and maintaining a full pipeline of leads and opportunities, for reporting and sales campaigns.

- Team Goals – As a member of the team you will working with the Marketing and Analyst teams to achieve team and company goals.

Knowledge, Skills & Experience

To be a successful candidate you will have:

- Experience of consistently meeting targets.
- Confidence engaging with senior decision makers, ranging from Directors and Heads of Departments through to C-level executives.
- IT and web literate, with a minimum of Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
- CRM experience would be an advantage but not essential.
- An interest in the financial, media and technology sectors would be an advantage but is not essential.
