About The Role:
As the development team is growing they need a talented lead developer who will work alongside the Technical Product Owner to help steer the products into new and exciting opportunities.

They build products and work alongside their clients to help make their jobs easier. Which is why they are looking for an individual with a can do attitude.

They currently work with Laravel and WordPress so expert knowledge of PHP is a must, they need someone who understands why they use WordPress as a CMS but wont allow it's limitations to restrict their innovation. As a team they are always open to newer ideas and technologies as long as there is just cause.

As a lead developer you must have exceptional problem solving skills and have the ability to present solutions to the team and on some occasions.

Skills and Experience:
- 5+ Years experience in a Digital Agency environment
- Advanced working knowledge of server-side programming, using the PHP programming language
- Advanced working knowledge of MySQL
- Significant exposure to WordPress and Laravel
- Advanced working knowledge of front-end technologies and platforms, such as JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3
- Experience and working knowledge of AWS
- Ability to build reusable code and libraries for future use
- Experience building responsive websites/applications
- Familiarity with usability, accessibility, version control and security methods
- Experience using Git
- Experience of using front-end frameworks such as Bootstrap & Foundation, plus building responsive sites from scratch using HTML5 & CSS3
- Experience of building HTML emails using Campaign Monitor or MailChimp

You Must Be:
- An enthusiastic individual who enjoys building a variety of projects and can talk passionately about their work
- Present solutions to complex client issues and explain solutions to a non-technical audience
- Client friendly and comfortable supporting the client services teams within client meetings
- Work closely to help their clients get the most out of their systems.
- Able to provide excellent PHP back-end and database knowledge to transform a front-end build into workable solutions, including integration of solutions into WordPress
- Able to plan your own time and also align with other timelines
- Contribute to product development meetings with the team to discuss feature requests.
- Able to provide first line support to a number of clients using their system.
- Have experience working in an agile environment
