They currently have vacancies for two Laboratory Technicians to work in their Footwear Testing Business Centre.

Your main role would be to conduct various routine preparation and testing of footwear, luggage, clothing, accessories and automotive components. Other responsibilities will include calibration of test equipment, stores maintenance, laboratory housekeeping and other quality system related activities.

Candidates must have GCSEs (or equivalent) in Maths, English and Science and be familiar with MS Word and Excel. The successful candidate will be expected to work to deadlines, to produce accurate, detailed results and to be able to work independently and as part of the laboratory team.

You must be computer literate and be able to demonstrate good organisation, time management and planning skills. Previous test laboratory experience would be an advantage, however full training will be given.

Flexibility, tenacity and a ‘can-do attitude’ are key requisites of the role. Candidates should be able and willing to work their contracted hours within the guidelines of the flexible working system; daytime flexible working, Monday to Friday.
