Full Time 37.5 hours – Permanent – Monday – Friday

This company is a volume importer based in Manchester, a leading supplier of stationery and children’s craft items with over 30 years experience supplying leading supermarkets and multiple retailers. As seen in many of the largest retail grocers, they also specialise in designing its own products under its well known brand name. They have success throughout the UK and Europe and have offices across the world.

They are currently seeking an experienced Key Account Manager, who will be based in our Head Office in Swinton.

As Key Account Manager, you will be part of the main Sales Team and responsible for daily communications with our customer base and helping the company in working towards and achieving its goals and targets.

Your typical duties are likely to include:

- Relationship developing/Liaising with the Buyers.
- Managing the key accounts from sales order processing to booking the stock in to the customers final delivery point.
- Providing accurate information from barcodes/pack sizes.
- Completing line forms where necessary.
- To have a complete understanding of Customers’ needs from labelling and delivery stipulations.
- Ensuring repack department/other departments/global system updated with correct information.
- Daily checking on containers against booking dates.
- Ensuring timescale allowances for any repack work and picking the goods.
-Able to up sell/offer alternatives where necessary on our products.
- Resolving order discrepancies and ensuring customer is dealt with positively and to the best of ability.
- Being able to handle complaints positively.
- Work as part of a team providing support to other team members where necessary.
- To be able to liaise with the Purchasing Department on future stock orders / special labelling orders / cancellations affecting stock orders.
