If you’re into programming and want to be a web developer, this could be your big break. From day one, they will treat you as one of the team and you’ll get a serious skills boost with a 6-month, structured training programme. This will include a mix of practical on-the-job experience, mentoring, feedback sessions and online courses.
Your experience so far:
- Programming via university/college/bootcamp courses
- Good knowledge of HTML (ideally 5) and CSS (or SASS)
- Some knowledge of a dynamic programming language (PHP, Ruby, Python, Java etc.)
- Some knowledge of JavaScript/ES6
- Some knowledge of WordPress
- Basic understanding of APIs/interacting with new interfaces
- Analytical, problem-solving mind
- Understand the value of writing clean, readable and reusable code
- Attention to detail and an eye for aesthetics
- Excellent communication skills.
Salary & Benefits:
- Salary: £18,000 to £22,000 depending on experience
- 6-month structured, on-the-job training programme
- 37.5 hours a week, Monday to Friday
