This business is looking for a talented Junior UI Designer to help create amazing user experiences. They are looking for a true advocate for the end user, in addition to possessing superior UI skills and able to translate high-level requirements into considered, intuitive, and functional user interfaces.

This role is ideally suited to someone who is looking to build up their experience and learn from others within a collaborative, friendly environment.

Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the Lead UI Designer, Product owners and Engineering team to deliver a consistent and high quality user experience
- Help to create wireframes, site maps, mock ups and final designs as needed to effectively communicate interaction and design ideas
- Help to build and maintain design patterns and UI components to create a consistent experience
- Participate in design review sessions throughout the sprint to maintain product validity and ensure developers have knowledge of look and feel, behaviour and flow
- Conduct user research and evaluate user feedback for product improvement.

Requirements
- 1-2 years of proven UI experience
- Demonstrable UI design skills with sensitivity to user-system interaction, shown in a strong portfolio
- Experience creating investigative artefacts such as wireframes and site maps
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud (specifically XD and Illustrator), OmniGraffle, or other visual design and wire-framing tools
- An understanding of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript and its limitations
- Ability to present your designs and sell your solutions to various stakeholders
- Ability to solve problems creatively and effectively
- Up-to-date with the latest UI trends, techniques, and technologies
- Bachelors/Masters degree in a relevant subject (Design related etc)
- Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process is preferred but not essential.
