About the Company: A UK based freight forwarding company with expertise in custom clearance and the freight industry. They were established in 2014 with ambition to modernise the outdated freight industry and integrate it with mixed media.

They have a wide range of multimodal transport, include Courier, Road, Air, Sea FCL and Sea LCL freight forwarding. They specialise in helping small to medium sized businesses, although they also support individuals in fast shipping across the UK and internationally. 

Job purpose: They are looking for a talented and competitive Junior Sales Representative that thrives in a quick sales cycle environment.  The successful candidate will play a fundamental role in achieving their ambitious customer acquisition and revenue growth objectives. You must be comfortable making dozens of calls per day, working with channel partners, generating interest, qualifying prospects and closing sales.

Main duties:
- Source new sales opportunities through inbound lead follow-up and outbound cold calls and emails.
- Understand customer needs and requirements.
- Route qualified opportunities to the appropriate sales executives for further development and closure.
- Close sales and achieve quarterly quotas.
- Research accounts, identify key players and generate interest.
- Maintain and expand your database of prospects within your assigned territory.
- Team with channel partners to build pipeline and close deals.
- Perform effective online demos to prospects.
- Take the Sales and Customer Service Calls.
- Deal with customer queries.

Requirements:
- Proven sales experience.
- Strong phone presence and experience dialling dozens of calls per day.
- Proficient with corporate productivity and web presentation tools.
- Experience working with Sales CRM.
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
- Strong listening and presentation skills.
- Ability to multi-task, prioritise, and manage time effectively.

Person Specification:
- Friendly and outgoing personality. Able to start conversations with strangers and handle complaints with empathy.
- Be aware of Health and Safety standards, along with a high understanding of dignity and diversity in the workplace.
- The successful applicant will ideally be able to quickly respond effectively to changing demands and be able to apply good problem solving skills.
- Good organisational, IT and communication skills.
- Excellent planning skills and ability to co-ordinate own work load.
- Motivated to drive efficient processes and maintain accurate information.
- Have a methodical and organised approach to work with the ability to think ahead and prioritise tasks
