We are looking to expand the engineering department with the appointment of a Junior Design Engineer (mechanical). We offer a competitive package, and the opportunity to build a long-term career in a well-established Biomass Company.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in the planning, design and implementation of projects
- Undertake calculations using software
- Attend site for quality inspections and production of as installed schematics
- Support technical manager
- Undertake CAD drawing
- Produce bill of materials
- Comply with H&S processes and procedures at design stage
- Research and Development
- Sourcing new products
Skills & Experience:
- Competence in the use of AutoCAD
- Knowledge of building services and basic engineering fundamentals
- Qualified to HND or degree level
- Ability to proactively work and contribute as part of a team and on own initiative, with commercial awareness
- Effective skills in planning, organising and prioritising personal workload
- Ability to communicate effectively with colleagues at all levels and other parties including the customer
- Microsoft office suite
- Good level of written and spoken English
- Driving License
- Experience in building services Ind
37.5 Hour Week
