A rare opportunity to join a highly trafficked cloud-based software provider has become available.

This is a junior role for a driven IT administrator looking to step up their career working as part of a Global Team and training will be provided as needed.

The successful candidate will be the UK-based IT Support Administrator, based full time in their Cambridgeshire office.

As an Australian based software house with operations in the United Kingdom, Australia, New Zealand and the United States, they have developed an industry-leading software package to provide job & project management systems to various vertical industries, specifically within the trade and service sectors.

You will be responsible for providing general IT and network support to staff in the UK. The office consists of a high-speed network with a combination of Windows Desktops, VoIP phones and mobile devices - with considerable use of cloud-based application and communication systems to limit the need for internal infrastructure.

Key duties:
- Provide day-to-day general IT support for onsite and remote users
- Manage staff mobile devices and hardware
- Manage Windows PCs from build and configuration to deployment and ongoing support
- Setup, configure and manage printers, firewalls, routers, aps, switches & PBX systems
- Support backup infrastructure and execution
- Support user applications such as email, calendars, web, database, phone systems, licence, document management, video conferencing etc.
- Collaborate with management and IT/Engineering staff to build and implement security strategies
- Support and implement IT projects for internal/external initiatives
- Document FAQs and IT information

You will have personal attributes that align with the company values so that you can contribute to the positive culture. You will be user-friendly and have the capacity to deliver your high level "nerd" skills in a practical way to support the busy office in St Ives, Cambridgeshire. The ability to work autonomously and with interdependence is a must!
