This premium brand that specialises in executive education is currently recruiting a Junior IT - Administrative Assistant to join the team at the company’s headquarters located at Butlers Wharf, London SE1. This is a great opportunity for a graduate who has some work experience with IT support and general office administration and is available to start immediately.

The role:

The successful candidate will be organised, task focused and able to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines. The junior IT assistant must be able to provide technical support to users with different needs, show flexibility and initiative as well as a high degree of interpersonal skill.

The junior IT assistant has a wide-ranging role that means working closely with external/internal IT contractors, clients, suppliers and internal teams. It ranges from the IT network & infrastructure maintenance to providing desktop application support and planning system upgrades. Key duties and objectives are:

- General network, hardware and software maintenance and troubleshooting
- Providing desktop application support and training users
- Liaising and maintaining relationships with supplier and contractors
- Planning and carrying out network & system updates and upgrades
- Working together with IT contractors in infrastructure & system development projects
- Automating processes and streamlining procedures
- Writing up user manuals & guides
- Assisting the Operations Team with administrative tasks and client relationship management
- Monitoring backup systems

Requirements:

- Methodical approach to work, being able to maintain and update records of the IT infrastructure
- Moderate understanding of PC hardware set-up and configuration
-Basic understanding of network infrastructure
- Basic understanding of e-mail hosting, VoIP and broadband configuration/services
- Proven ability to learn and master software intricacies
- Knowledge of Windows 7/10 and Windows Server 2003/2008
- Experience with using and troubleshooting Microsoft Office, i.e. Access, Word, Excel, PowerPoint
- Highly self-motivated, flexible and hard-working
- Logical problem solving skills
- First class organisational skills and analytical with great deal of attention to detail
- Good communication skills (written and verbal)
- Fully understand and observe the company’s IT security standards and brand guidelines/ethos
- Familiarity with Goldmine CRM, MySQL and SQL database is a plus
