A Junior Internal Sales role within a successful B2B environment, for this privately-owned company based in Eastbourne, East Sussex.
This company is seeking to recruit a Junior Internal Sales team member, as the internal sales team continues to grow. The constant aim is to generate sales from current customers and generate leads with new ones. They are proud of their high service levels, expertise and products, as they promote plastic pallets as the way forward in warehouses and shipping, becoming “The UK Voice of plastic pallets”, supported by their “Responsible Plastic Pallet Company” campaign.
Reporting directly to the Sales Manager, daily tasks will see you:
- Build relationships with existing and new customers who may have requirements for our products
- Working within a sales/quotation based role
- Manage multiple accounts simultaneously
- Identifying new sales opportunities
- Maintain records of all sales leads and/or customer accounts
- Educate customers on how products or services can benefit them
- Prepare and send quotations by email and post
- Working to sales targets
Full training for the role will be provided
The ideal candidate will:
- Have a proven track record in sales or have worked within telesales or a sales driven environment
- Live within 15 miles of Eastbourne
- Have experience of lead generation
- Be confident speaking on the phone and have excellent communication skills
- Have good written skills
- Be a team-player used to a busy office environment
- Be able to build strong and effective working relationships with customers and colleagues
- Be self-motivated to impress us and our clients
- Have strong customer focus
- Be IT literate
- Have excellent time management skills
- Be pro-active, able to work with little guidance
- Demonstrate basic administration skills
Hours of work. Monday to Friday 8.30-5.30 (5.00 on Fridays), with a one-hour lunch break. 20 days holiday per year.

Salary: £16000 - £18000 per annum, plus bonus scheme
