An established business based in Long Stratton requires a highly motivated Junior Finance Assistant to join their dynamic team on a full-time, permanent basis.
As a Junior Finance Assistant, you will offer support to the finance team with a key focus on accuracy and speed with an analytical mind at all times.
Key responsibilities include:
- Assisting with analysis of the company’s accounting transactions and performance
- Purchase ledger processes, including invoice processing and supplier statement reconciliations.
- Assisting with daily bank reconciliations and accounting entries
- Other ad-hoc tasks as required by the business
Essential Behaviours:
- Organised and pro-active
- Ability to work to tight deadlines
- High attention to detail
Qualifications and Experience:
- Strong IT skills, including Excel experience of pivot tables and Vlookups
- Previous experience within a busy finance department is preferred
- Training in an Accountancy Practice background would be preferred
