We are looking for a Junior Designer / Creative Artworker to join our expanding team working across the healthcare and pharmaceutical areas.

This role is primarily web-focussed and the ideal candidate will have a passion for digital design and an excellent eye for detail.

A great opportunity to start in the design industry, training can be provided but the candidate must already be competent in Adobe programmes. Please provide a portfolio to showcase your skills.
About the role:

You will be responsible for supporting our design and development teams by providing artwork and graphics for use in digital media and websites. This is a varied role for someone who is keen to learn, with the opportunity to learn and progress to more complex projects and take on additional responsibilities.

Responsibilities include:
- Creating and adapting artwork for use in digital media (websites, iPad presentations, emails, social media and digital banners)
- Updating and reworking existing artwork and designs
- Image editing, including optimisation, colour correction, isolating, resizing and retouching
- Email and banner design
- Ensuring that all work adheres to our clients’ brand guidelines
- Uploading assets and updating content on WordPress sites and client portals (training can be provided)
- Supporting the design team throughout the execution of other projects including websites and presentations

Essential skills and experience:
- A portfolio showcasing strong creative skills and digital design projects (such as websites and apps) is essential for this role
- A degree in a related discipline
- Strong Adobe Creative Suite skills, particularly Adobe xD, InDesign and Photoshop
- Solid communication skills in English, both written and verbal
- A keen eye for detail is a must and ability to follow strict guidelines
- Be able to work to tight deadlines and fast turn-arounds
- The ability to work in a team and independently
- A positive, team-player attitude and strong work ethic
- A desire and a willingness to learn

Would be great if you have (though not essential):
- Previous creative experience in a similar role
- Experience editing and updating WordPress
