As the Product Developer for the Homeware categories you will be responsible for the development, sourcing, range building & delivery of multiple categories; spanning but not exclusive to clocks, frames, textiles, lighting, furniture, gift etc
- You must have the ability to manage the creation & definition of brands from initial concept through to delivery, including product, packaging, display & photography
- You will need to demonstrate an ability to analyse & review sales identifying areas of opportunity, strengths & weaknesses in order to refine & develop new ranges
- Homewares buying experience is preferred, must have good interior product & technical knowledge
- Commercially astute & tuned in when it comes to, cost negotiations
- In depth knowledge of product development process & have worked using range plans & critical paths
- Ability to read sales data & pull learnings out to shape future ranges
- Communicating with Far East manufacturers
- Sample approvals, comp shop reports & benchmarking projects
- Creative individual, with a keen eye & genuine passion for interior future trends & new innovative products
This role will require international travel to Far East & Europe.
Salary - £25,000 to £28,000 dependant on experience (can be flexible for the right candidate).
Package - 22 days holiday, pension, car parking, canteen facilities.
They are Based in Chadderton, Oldham.
