The tech challenge is an interesting one. Their core application is built using a LAMP stack. They have someone in the team whose bread and butter is PHP so they'll be working on tweaks, features and fine tuning what they already have plus guiding the team on PHP integration. Everything new they have done in the last 18 months is focused on JavaScript across the stack (Node.js, React) with some links with the PHP codebase to give the user a joined up experience and that's where they need you. They have created a number of great new features driven by customer feedback which they act on.

They are looking for a solid JS developer to join the team of 5 developers. The team is strong and made up of like minded people who know their stuff and like to talk tech. They want someone who is easy and supportive to work with and will fit in the team. They have a strong Product Manager, a great Business Analyst who knows the product like the back of her hand and their founder and MD is active in product discussions and design (he's a software developer by trade).

- Flexible working - work from home around core hours
- A great city centre location in a vibrant shared office building
- An interesting and varied product roadmap to tackle

They are right bang in the middle of Manchester next to the Town Hall so an easy place to commute to. But when you don't fancy the commute, they're happy for you to work from home. And if you want to avoid that armpit of that fellow commuter on a packed train, you can start early or late with their flexible working hours.
