Description

They require an enthusiastic and gifted individual with a proven interest and ability in software development to join their team of software engineers. The successful candidate will be helping us develop cross-platform mobile applications that interface with a number of their products and projects.

The candidate should have real-world experience of developing web and mobile applications using JavaScript, either in a professional, academic, or personal capacity. Proficiency in other languages such as Ruby is also highly desirable.

The successful candidate will benefit from exposure to some of the latest cutting edge technologies, and will have the opportunity to see their work used in live production environments.

They will also benefit from working with other like-minded individuals who are keen to share their wealth of industry experience and knowledge.

Required skills
- 2+ years of experience of developing ‘full stack’ web or mobile applications using JavaScript
- 3+ years of experience developing software or services in any language
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Enthusiastic and motivated personality
- Solid understanding of OO principles
- Natural ability with computers and technology in general
- Excellent problem solving skills and the ability to debug and diagnose in a sensible and methodical manner

Desirable
- At least a 2:1 undergraduate degree in a related field or further qualifications
- Industry experience of developing large-scale software and services
- Ability to demonstrate past code and projects

Technical experience of:
o Frameworks and platforms such as React, Angular, and Cordova
o Testing frameworks such as Jasmine
o Automation with tools such as Ansible, Capistrano, or command line scripting
o Google Cloud, Amazon Web Services Platform, or similar cloud platforms
