This retail and hospitality till systems specialist are looking for an IT/ Epos engineer to join their expanding team. The role will be a mixture of office based working on their rental business and onsite for installations.

Training will provided on Windows Based epos Software, hardware, iOS POS Systems and Hotel POS Systems so strong software skills will be required.

Being able to work as part of a team, you will have previous knowledge on installing, servicing and maintaining IT or Epos Equipment. You will be required to thoroughly learn their systems, to be able to complete installations, train users on software, resolve any issues, swap out and repair faulty equipment and provide excellent levels of customer service. They require ambitious, hardworking, think out of the box individuals who are customer focused and willing to learn. They can offer strong career progression.

In order to apply for this job you must have a driving licence and access to your own car. Company will reimburse any travel used for company business.

Responsibilities:

- Should be able to handle rental software and maintain all the rental tills and Epos systems going out for hire at the warehouse. This includes boxing and labeling for couriers for collection and booking rental stock back in the system.
- Hardware and Software Support for Epos Equipment and peripherals for Customers via telephone, email and remotely via TeamViewer or other remote systems.
- Undertake Onsite Visits when required to resolve hardware and software issues which can't be resolved via phone.
- Test Hardware and ensure systems are fully tested before going on site. Report all software issues direct to relevant suppliers and proactively work to provide solutions and ensure communication is maintained with customers.
- Install all equipment in accordance with agreed customer requirements and provide training on the chosen epos software.
- Build a good working relationship with customers and provide professional training so staffs feels confident in using the system
- Produce where needed adequate training manuals and documentation to support customer training needs.

Other tasks include PDQ Integration and support, Development and Administration.

Skills and Experience:

- All applicants must be able to drive and hold a valid driving license.
- Good knowledge of MS Windows all versions, exchange server and be able to troubleshoot issues.
- Extensive knowledge on Networking/Switches/Routers/Firewalls e.g DHCP Strong faultfinding and repair knowledge
- Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office Applications especially Word and Excel Learn quickly about Epos Software and be able to programme, support and train end users.
