Your role as Technical Account Manager will be to manage the relationships of existing customers and new business. You will help the technical team provide a high level of customer satisfaction and work with the sales team to identify new solutions/opportunities for future projects.
The successful candidate will build strong relationships with customers, providing technical expertise for existing products and look to develop new products, services and solutions.

Responsibilities
- Working as a technical resource within the Account Management Team for existing customers & New Business
- Acting as the spokesperson, representative and coordinator to the client for all elements of our services at a technical level
- Develop relationships and ensure first-class customer service
- Updating clients on all technical developments/changes within the industry
- Identifying and maximising revenue opportunities within accounts
- Engaging with customers at a technical level when there are service issues
- Working with the support team to resolve technical issues
- Creating bespoke reports and document templates for clients for their systems

Experience
- Technical Account Management: 3 years (Required)
- Client Relationship: 3 years (Required)
- Extensive customer facing, technical service experience in a complex environment
- Able to build effective relationships with stakeholders at all levels of an organisation and able to present technical solutions to customers
- Excellent time and project management skills are essential in this position
- A proven track record of client retention and revenue generation within the IT industry, preferably within the cloud computing or managed hosting sector

Technical Skill Required
- Previous experience of working in an IT environment to the requisite level of technical understanding
- Good knowledge of modern day technologies such as virtualisation, Office/Microsoft 365, Windows Server, Storage, Security Products
- Understanding of Cloud services such as IAAS, SAAS, DAAS and the underpinning technologies
- Good knowledge of Active Directory/Azure AD/Microsoft Exchange design and implementation
- Understanding of security solutions
- Ideally candidate will hold MCSE/MCITP
