IT Support Technician

Due to the continued success and rapid growth of the company, they are looking for an IT Support Technician to fill a newly created role within their IT Department.

The IT Support Technician will assist the IT Manager supporting users and maintaining the computer network, including servers, printers, and telephony equipment.
In addition to general IT support, the role could involve maintenance, support and development of the company's CRM database. Therefore, the ideal candidate would have an interest in relational database systems.

Key Responsibilities
- 1st line support for all IT queries.
- Proactive maintenance of the business IT systems; anti-virus, Windows and application updates.
- Diagnosing and resolving hardware/software faults.
- Installing and configuring PCs, phone and printers.
- Administering the telephony platform and call recording/reporting systems.
- Windows Server maintenance and backup administration.
- Training staff in the use of IT equipment and software.

Essential Skills
- Previous experience in an IT support position or relevant qualifications.
- Hardware fault diagnosis and repair.
- Detailed knowledge of Microsoft Windows desktop, Windows Server and Microsoft Office applications.
- Basic networking fundamentals.
- Knowledge of relational database systems.
- Knowledge of CRM systems.

Remuneration
They offer a basic salary plus private medical insurance after six months service, car parking space and 28 days holiday including bank holidays rising by an extra day per year which is capped at 32 days.
