IT Support Technician
£20,000 - £25,000 DOE
37.5 hours per week - rotational shifts from Monday to Friday 8.00am - 7.00pm (occasional weekend working)

As IT Support Technician you will be responsible for:

- Supporting the IT Team to meet business requirements
- Maintaining a high level of communication with all stakeholders
- Providing ‘Hands-on’ and pro-active support and service delivery
- Liaise with third party software\hardware providers
- Desktop Builds and Imaging Rollout using various deployment methods
- Accurately update and maintain our ticketing system
- Working on any additional projects or tasks to achieve business goals
- Keeping accurate and up to date records and documentation

Essential knowledge, skills and personal attributes:

- Knowledge of Active Directory, Group policy and user Administration processes
- First rate understanding of server hardware set-up and software configuration
- Experience configuring and managing Windows 7/10 and Windows Server 2012/2016
- Office 365 operation and troubleshooting
- Track record supporting users with MS Office 2013/2016
- Knowledge of Networking – Routers/switches/Firewalls
- Troubleshooting TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, LAN\WAN, IPSec
- Experience of network monitoring software
- Understanding of VOIP telephony platforms
- Awareness and understanding of virtualisation technologies
- Track record of taking ownership of problems and tasks
- A team player looking to thrive in a fast-paced environment

Desirable Qualifications:

- HNC or HND in Computing
- Microsoft accreditation - MTA or MCSA
