An exciting opportunity has arisen for an IT Support Technician to join an expanding team of well-established IT Professionals. This role is based in Wigan, however on occasion, you may be required to carry out customer site visits, therefore your own vehicle and driving licence are required.

Working in partnership with our customers we ensure they are maximising efficiencies with their current available resources and can move forward with new technologies and innovations as their business growth demands.

As an IT Support Technician, your duties will be to:

- Provide Support to a growing customer base on a 24*7*365 rota basis
≈Working to customer focused Service Level Agreements
- Following policies and procedures
- Promote proactive support throughout all or our customers with the overall aim being to prevent reoccurring issues.
- Provide Support on PC, LAN, and other connectivity issues for the company and its customers
- Ensure all documentation is complete and kept up to date
- Updating and working with a Technical Knowledge Base

You will hold the following skills and experiences:

- Previous experience working with or as part of a Service Desk environment via telephone / remote or on – site
- A working knowledge of Active Directory
- Hardware – Servers / PCs / Printers / LAN hardware
- Software – Server & Desktop operating systems / E-mail / Desktop applications
- Experience of firewalls both hardware and software
- Wide Area Network and Local Area Network experience
- Monitoring & Management of contracted equipment
