This growing company based in Hereford boasts one of the largest teams of dedicated Engineers, Specialist Technicians and fully qualified Assistive Software Trainers in the UK.

They are now looking for a skilled IT Support Engineer to provide exceptional service and be part of a great team!

As a skilled IT Support Engineer, you will be responsible for working closely with colleagues to implement and maintain critical IT infrastructure as well as delivering day to day support to fulfil present and future business needs.

Responsibilities and Duties:

- Being on the front line answering calls, emails and chat requests
- Supporting our customers infrastructure including workstations, servers and backup systems
- Deploying new equipment to existing clients
- Server administration
- Developing and implementing SLA's
- Building and maintaining relationships with clients
- Identifying and suggesting improvements to be made

Qualifications and Skills

They are looking for someone who has gained experience and technical skills in a working environment of:

- Windows server 2008, 2012, 2016
- Exchange Server 2007, 2010, 2013
- Office 365 technologies including Exchange Online administration and migration
- Provable working knowledge of networking, TCP/IP, Wireless, VPN's
- Configuring routers, switches, firewalls and access points
- Windows 7, 8 & 10
- Microsoft Office 2007 through to 2016
- Previous experience of Apple Mac computers would be desirable
- Excellent interpersonal skills for customer liaison
- Good written and oral communication skills
- Good time management, organisation and prioritisation skills
- An inquisitive mind and a desire to promote innovation
- A desire to learn and constantly expand your horizons
- Ability to work alone and closely with others in a small team
- Ability to work under pressure
- Ability to explain and talk to customers without the IT jargon
- Can prioritise critical issues in a fast-moving environment
- High degree of initiative and flexibility
- Willingness to travel
