Successful applicants will be able to demonstrate a range of knowledge in Microsoft solutions including (but not limited to);
- Microsoft Windows Server 2012/2016
- Microsoft Remote Desktop Services / Terminal Server
- Hyper-V Virtualisation and Hypervisor
- Active Directory design & Group Policy management
- IIS and SSL certificates
- Microsoft Exchange 2013/2016 & Office 365 configuration and administration
- Router/VPN configuration
- DNS and IP configurations
The role will involve implementing, supporting, administration, monitoring, maintaining and troubleshooting systems to provide IT support to a broad range of clients located in and around Nottingham with the occasional need for travel. Your main responsibilities will be engaging with new and existing clients, documenting, improving and migrating their IT systems to cloud based, co-located virtual systems, including the migration and aided support of any third-party applications the client may use. From basic Windows desktop systems, to full AD, server or Exchange to Office 365 migrations.
- Ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate at least 18 months previous experience working for an MSP / IT Support Company
- Be willing to develop skills further and work on industry accreditations
- Be able to prioritise workloads
- Be able to work as part of a team or individually when required
- Ideally hold at least 1 Microsoft Accreditation or be able to demonstrate working towards an accreditation
- Client facing and excellent written and verbal communication skills to business director/owner level
