Founded 60 years ago, this company is a global player in the manufacture and distribution of pet / aquatic products and accessories. Their UK Head Office, close to the M62 near Castleford, is now home to an exceptional opportunity for an IT professional now looking to take that next career step.

As an IT Support Analyst, you will provide day to day support to users on a variety of tailored, bespoke and in-house computer systems. This role encompasses 1st / 2nd and 3rd line support, allowing you scope to provide truly end to end solutions. You will be required to work both as part of a team and independently, have an analytical brain and be able to communicate effectively at all levels.

Key Responsibilities
- Provide at desk, telephone, email and remote support, which includes 1st / 2nd & 3rd line support and general troubleshooting.
- PC, printer, mobile device and server configuration and troubleshooting
- Maintain technical documentation and manuals
- Highlight improvement areas to the business
- Daily system checks including monitoring and reporting
- Make live information changes into their database

About you
- 2 plus years of IT Support experience with demonstrable IT skills
- Keen attention to detail
- Self motivated with the ability to assess priorities, organising work schedules and directing resources according to business need.
- Ability to learn new technologies quickly
- Proven excellent customer service skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Good problem analysis and problem-solving skills
- Practical knowledge of Windows Operating Systems (Windows 7/10, Server 2003/2016), Office 365 administration, excel macros, SQL scripts, networking and switch management, DNS, DHCP, sharing & security, AD, GPO, Powershell, AV products
