What They Are Looking For:

A talented and enthusiastic IT Support professional who is highly motivated, ambitious and has general computing engineering skills.

Responsibilities:
Your day will be split between supporting business customers on our in house applications and also on the office network.
- Provide 1st line technical support; answering support queries via email, phone and in person
- Take ownership of user problems and be pro-active when dealing with user issues
- Respond to enquiries from users and help them resolve any hardware or software problems
- Support users in the use of technical equipment
- Escalate more complex issues which you cannot deal with to other members of the IT team
- Assist the IT development team in the development of its in house software solutions
- Identify, raise and report on defects

Requirements:
- Familiar with supporting online software
- Good attention to detail and organisational skills
- Comfortable working as part of a team
- 1-2 year’s commercial experience within a Support/Development environment and an obvious passion for the industry
- Knowledge of Microsoft Server and Active Directory

Desirable but not essential:
- Computing related degree
- MySQL
