IT Sales Executive – Microsoft

£28-35k pa based on experience, £80k+ OTE + Benefits

They are an ambitious, technically lead business delivering Microsoft Cloud Services, Solutions and Support to transform their client’s IT landscape earning the right to be their ‘trusted’ IT provider.

They can deliver the technology; they are looking for an individual to ‘find the doors’ and ‘open doors’ to put them in front of businesses so they can show their capabilities to solve their IT issues and win the business.

As the Sales Executive, you will demonstrate an ability to consult with customers to identify their needs and requirements, with full backing and support of in-house team with full technical expertise.

The role is focused upon the building of new customer business and generating and maintaining a strong pipeline.

They are based in Hampshire with a client reach from South coast/London/Birmingham.

The Role
- To actively seek out new business, self-generate and work with the tech team to close opportunities
- Work with their trusted partners sales teams to identify where they can support their business by identifying where their services complement theirs
- Proactive prospecting, building, winning new business
- Build and maintain a pipeline of leads and opportunities
- Sell their Microsoft Consultancy Services, Offerings and Managed Support services
- Maintaining and developing relationships with customers in person, via telephone calls and emails
- Developing and maintaining industry knowledge and presence
- Gain a clear understanding of the customers' businesses and IT requirements
- Liaising with Customers, assisting in preparing proposals and the follow-up of outstanding queries
- Take responsibility for identifying new market opportunities
- Ensuring maintenance and upkeep of the Customer Relationship Management to improve sales effectiveness

Essential
- A minimum of two years sales experience selling Microsoft consultancy/Services
- Have experience selling into and managing a variety of accounts across small medium and large organisations
- Excellent prospecting and selling skills
- The ability to manage and develop new sales
- An ability to proactively generate new sales opportunities
- The ability to work under pressure and meet sales targets
- Excellent negotiation and influencing skills
- Office administration skills i.e. Microsoft Office and report writing
- Excellent communicator on telephone, face to face and in writing
- Must be able to work on own initiative
- Clean UK driving license and own transport
