A leading UK Apprenticeship provider is hiring for an enthusiastic and self-motivated IT Project Manager, to work initially on a business wide CRM system. The PM must be highly business and benefits focused as well as have stand-out communication and stakeholder management skills.You should have a proven track record of building long lasting, strategic relationships with technical staff, vendors and business stakeholders.

They are looking for extensive experience of successful delivery of IT business systems software deployments and software development. Preferably you will have CRM deployment with heavy configuration and integration experience; ideally using Salesforce and associated Force.com applications.

You will be joining a small team of Business Analysts and Project Managers in an IT department which has an established vision and in an organisation which is highly successful in its sector.

Requirements: -
- A proven track record of working as a hands-on business systems focused project manager; ideally with CRM or ERP experience within the education, public or service sectors.
- Experience of delivering complex business systems, web or infrastructure projects
- Balances a pragmatic methods orientation combined with a focus on delivering results.
- Experience of managing several IT projects simultaneously.
- A good knowledge of the SDLC, including experience in and knowledge of business analysis and testing.
- Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills and highly credible in presenting up to Board Level/C-Suite.
- Knowledge of both Waterfall and Agile development approaches.
- A knowledge of, and the ability to define and manage, the non-technical aspects of projects including change management, training and communications.
- Highly experienced in project planning risk/issues management, budgeting and financial control.
- Willingness to travel and, on occasion, spend short periods of time away from home within the UK.
- Competent user of a range of business specific software: project management. software, collaborative workspaces and advanced MS Office products or equivalent.
- Willingness to undertake an enhanced DBS check.

Any of the following would be an advantage, but are not essential: -
- Prince2 or APM Certification.
- Experience of managing 3rd party contracts for software development, package customisations or upgrades.
- Project Management using Agile
- Awareness of Programme Management principles.
