Level 1 & 2 IT Operations Engineers are required to join a progressive and successful Technology Services company. They make it their business to provide an outstanding, innovative service where customer service, integrity and respect are their key values.

The company delivers a variety of outsourced, managed and project services across a wide range of clients, mainly in the SMB/SME marketplace.

They are looking for highly motivated, experienced IT individuals to join them on a permanent basis, those who want to be part of a growing, dynamic team of people that works hard to always achieve the best for their clients. The company is employee owned and as such you will reap the rewards of the commitment and contribution you will bring to the team.

You must be well presented, able to communicate effectively (both face-to-face, over the phone and in written English), have sound time management skills, be a committed and flexible team player and relish success. You should be able to build rapport with clients and colleagues. Even though you will have a genuine love of technology, the ability to convey technical work in “plain English” rather than geek-speak is essential.

You should have an analytical mind, an ability to troubleshoot effectively and a willingness to escalate or consult with others, recognising when a problem needs to be escalated or addressed from a different angle.

The company will expect demonstrable experience, ideally working with multi-customer SMBs/SMEs in a Managed Service Provision environment. As a Level 1 Engineer, you should have 1-2 years’ experience, over 2 years’ experience as a Level 2 covering at least the following technology areas:

- Windows Server
- Active Directory
- Exchange
- Network infrastructure, topology and best practices
- Firewall and router configuration
- Office365 and cloud migrations/deployments

Microsoft certifications are highly desirable and a willingness to keep them current and gain further, relevant certifications is essential.

The company is looking for people who can subscribe to an employee ownership culture and team-focused success. The ability to think like a business owner and understand what it means to be a co-owner of a flourishing business is essential. If you are energetic, enthusiastic and motivated, you will fit right in. You should have your own vehicle and a full UK driving licence.

Benefits include 30 days annual leave, company performance bonus, Life Insurance scheme, employee well-being programme and Health Plan.
