This is an opportunity to join a technology company trading for over two decades based in North London (Neasden Tube).
They require an experienced hands-on IT manager with a solid and proven background in EPICOR ERP (or similar) management, MSSQL, network infrastructure, virtualization and application management to support around 80 internal, external and mobile users.
The role is split between managing and improving the ERP and linked systems and supporting the IT infrastructure with the team.
The role includes supporting some of the latest technology including hyper-convergence. They are looking for someone who is reliable, can think problems through, learn new processes, add value, provide robust documented solutions and can manage a small team.
Responsibilities and Duties include
- Management of Epicor ERP 10 (or 9)
- Some experience of using customisation tools
- Reporting and BI Tools.
- Network Management (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN and VLANS)
- Firewall and security/patching management
- Active Directory
- VMWare
- Exchange
- MSQL
- Desktop and Server Windows OS
- IP telephony and mobile computing
- Cloud services
- Business/Web applications
- Disaster recovery, planning and testing
Qualifications and Skills
A good understanding of business processes. At least 5+ years IT experience in similar roles. A computer science or business related degree and any certifications such as MCSE, MCSA and VCP are a plus.
