Would you like the opportunity to take ownership and hands-on responsibility for the delivery, maintenance, support and upkeep of a small company’s IT systems and equipment (hardware and software), ensuring continuous improvement and maintenance of the IT estate?

Reporting directly to the CEO, your responsibilities will include:
- Supporting the provision of Information Systems that enable a robust and secure IT infrastructure within the Company, working with external suppliers and Internal stakeholders
- Working with key stakeholders to ensure that the IT infrastructure is fit for purpose and meets the current and future needs of the business
- Taking a hands-on approach to managing and maintaining all IT systems and equipment (hardware and software), including CRM, GDPR, SKYPE for Business, cloud enabled collaboration and a Content Management System
- Integrating new platforms and systems across a dispersed geographical region and delivering training to staff on new and existing systems.
- Maintaining all IT and Communications hardware & software, ensuring that they are up to date and functioning correctly
- Ensuring that systems, data and IT equipment are secure, adhering to industry security standards
- Managing all IT support to the business ensuring that all issues are prioritised, addressed in a timely manner and staff informed of progress
- Managing IT expenditure across the organisation
- Maintaining an up to date inventories of IT assets including IT hardware and software licences
- Monitoring trends in Information technology and telecommunications and making recommendations as appropriate that could enhance the Company IT delivery.

Technical requirements:
- Excellent knowledge of technical management, information analysis and of computer hardware/software systems
- Experience of Microsoft Windows Infrastructure Environment
- MS server and active directory
- MS Office 365 incl. Teams, SharePoint etc.
- Working in a cloud environment
- Experience of all areas of IT security (Anti-virus, data loss prevention, data security/backups etc.)
- Exposure data warehousing, business intelligence and CRM systems
- SKYPE for business

Your personal skills will include:
- At least five years’ experience as an IT professional
- People Management of at least 1 person
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively
- Strong time management & problem-solving skills.
- Highly motivated, self-starter and team player

The role will be based at the client's office in Faringdon.

They produce a range of global market reports and services to meet the needs of their clients including market intelligence reports for key countries plus global reports, benchmarking reports, statistical reports, and an online data and intelligence licence providing real time market information, data, contact options and search facilities.
