IT Helpdesk Team Leader

This is an opportunity to join an established IT Managed Service Provider based in Wapping, London. Passionate about service, we place great emphasis on the customer. We provide IT services from Cloud & Connectivity to end user support.

An opportunity for a Helpdesk Team Leader to join, supporting theirr growing customer base has arisen. The successful candidate will have experienced outsourced IT support on a range of technologies incl. Microsoft, HP, SOPHOS, Cloud & Business Continuity, manage & guide their helpdesk team in delivering services to an expanding base. Confidence supporting multiple customers remotely is a must. The role will require you to be able delegate work to the members of the team, manage tickets & ensure client SLA’s are upheld.

Responsibilities:
- Provide professional remote support for incidents & requests
- Manage team
- Manage queues & ensure customer satisfaction & SLA’s are met
- Deal with escalations
- Deal with & take ownership of calls
- Provision & deploy users on multiple platforms (Office 365/AD etc.)
- Perform admin functions on Server & Cloud
- Ensure documented technical solutions are delivered
- Assist with testing new technology
- Support network equipment (Firewall, Switches etc.)
- Manage PSA & IT automation tools
- Maintain & Improve Customer Experience

Candidates must have excellent management, communication, & problem-solving skills, possess the ability to handle multiple assignments & have a proven track record in customer service.

Candidate requirements:
- Minimum 5yrs experience
- At least 2yrs team management experience
- Experienced outsourced IT (MSP)
- Current IT accreditations e.g. Microsoft MCSA, MCSE, MCP’s
- Expertise supporting MS Server
- Experience managing & supporting Office 365 & Exchange
- Full understanding of DNS, DHCP, AD & GPO
- Knowledge of common network protocols, including vLan & routing
- Experience with Firewalling – ideally SOPHOS UTM
- Experience supporting RDS & VDI
- Experience supporting SharePoint
- Experience with Azure & other cloud
- Good knowledge of Virtualisation (VMware, Hyper-V)
- Excellent knowledge of IT support tools & how IT is used to provide business outcomes
- Self-motivated able to work in a fast-moving environment
