This company is looking to recruit an IT Helpdesk / Field Support Engineer to deploy, maintain and support desktops, laptops, handhelds, mobile phones and applications.

Tasks and Responsibility
- Respond to all tasks, issues and change requests assigned through Help Desk system.
- Record all activity in Help Desk system.
- Work as part of a geographical distributed team.
- Liaise with Helpdesk, 3rd Level Support and ERP Systems teams.
- Troubleshoot / Resolve end user technical issues
- Maintain back end systems for the deployment / support of PCs.
- Maintain standard configurations for deployment to PCs
- Deploy PCs, Handhelds and mobiles to users as required.
- Roll Out new systems, software and upgrades to user PCs
- Ensure all Microsoft, Security, Anti-Virus and other updates are automatically deployed to PCs
- Maintain Wi-fi, LAN switches and other PC infrastructure systems
- Ensure software deployed is compliant with licensing and other policies.
- Maintain Group Policies, Checkpoint and other control technologies
- Produce and publish documentation
- Undertake training and research to maintain knowledge of current technology and systems.

Required Knowledge / Skillset
- Microsoft Windows and Microsoft office up to latest versions
- Checkpoint Endpoint
- Principles of TCP/IP Networking.
- Microsoft Networking Technology, Active Directory, Windows Server, etc

Special Terms and Conditions
The job holder must undertake to work outside normal working hours at weekends when required.

Job Holder must hold clean UK Full Driving License

Some traveling (including international) may be required to for team / department meetings and on site working.
