A growing Midland based MSP that designs, supply's, installs and maintains workplace technology. End to end, single point of contact supplier to the SME market place. Their 'one hand to shake' approach delivers a product portfolio that takes care of all the infrastructure technology requirements for the 21st century business. The connectivity, the servers & hardware, security, mobile device management and any liaising with bespoke industry specific software manufactures, their job as the MSP it to make it smooth and pain free for the customer.

Due to the diverse nature of incidents and technology supported, they are looking for an Engineer with a consultative style and a genuine willingness to learn new skills. They seek bright, diligent individuals with excellent communication skills and a good work ethic. This business understands the need to attend your child's school play or a visit to the dentist but likewise clients often have last minute situations so it works both ways.

This is a challenging and diverse role that involves frequent travel to customers sites across the Midlands, Gloucester and a London visit monthly to support and troubleshoot a wide range of software and hardware.

Responsibilities:
- Carrying out onsite visits for clients
- Providing technical support via telephone, email, remote control sessions and onsite
- Diagnosing and resolving customer's problems
- Dealing with helpdesk issues
- Carrying out project work for clients
- Onboarding of new clients
- Accurate documentation of Clients sites

Requirements:
- Proven ability to configure and troubleshoot a variety of Windows Server operating systems from 2003 to 2012 R2
- Virtualisation - Good understanding of virtualization concepts, working knowledge of Hyper V and Vmware
- Experience with Firewalls and Web filters, in particular WatchGuard
- Excellent Time management and planning, our business enters time sheets using 'connectwise'
- Experience with general cloud apps (in particular Office 365)
- Full UK Driving Licence

- Windows Server 2008 to 2012 (2016 a benefit but not essential)
- Exchange Server
- Hyper V and Vmware
- Office 365
- Watchguard Firewalls
- Webroot Antivirus
- Connectwise PSA Management System
- Labtech RMM
- Backup

This company considers all applicants, but the role typically favours those who are fully or part qualified. Relevant MCP, MCSA or MCSE qualifications are a strong bonus.
