A rare opportunity has arisen at an established IT Support and Services Company in Hastings town centre for an IT Engineer Apprentice.
The successful IT Engineer Apprentice will gain skills and knowledge through work placed training and outsourced certified courses, whilst being paid £10,000 per annum.
The role involves telephone IT Support, you will need to be able to demonstrate a calm, friendly and reassuring presence to their clients.
It would be an advantage if candidates have some basic knowledge of:
- Windows Server
- Windows Desktops
- Networking Hardware – Routers / Switches
- DHCP, DNS, TCP/IP Transport
- Active Directory / Group Policy
- Microsoft Exchange / 365
- Printers / Scanners
- Third Party Software Troubleshooting
- WordPress Websites
This IT Engineer Apprentice position is currently based from home due to the pandemic. Home Broadband with upload speed of 1.5Mb is essential as this will be facilitated via screen sharing and video links.
Once the risk has lifted the position will be based from their Hastings Town Centre office which is easily commutable from St. Leonards On sea, Bexhill, Crowhurst, Westfield, Fairlight and Eastbourne.
