You will be independent, entrepreneurial and have a passion for technology, which you'll use to help them achieve their mission to promote, develop and unite member-owned businesses across the UK.

As well as supporting and maintaining their full technology stack, you’ll be working on a number of exciting digital projects and with a range of leading platforms, including Amazon Web Services, Salesforce and Drupal (it doesn’t matter if you’re not initially comfortable with these).

Your work will be highly varied, and you'll be regarded as an expert and patient source of technology support who is comfortable working with colleagues at all levels of their organisation and beyond.

Key Experience, Knowledge & Skills:

- A degree in a technology related field or at least 2 years’ experience in an IT support or development environment
- Experience using Linux/Apache/MySQL/PHP or similar web development stack
- Well-organised, able to prioritise competing demands, work independently and see tasks through to completion
- Excellent problem-solving skills and able to exercise initiative and judgement in relation to IT issues
- Flexibility and willingness to adapt systems, processes and plans to meet changing requirements
- High standards of accuracy and attention to detail
- Ability to efficiently convey complex technical information to non-technical audiences
- Demonstrates an energetic and positive approach to work

The role involves working with the technologies below. Knowledge and experience of these is beneficial, but not essential as full training will be given. More important is a willingness and ability to learn them.

- Amazon Web Services
- Drupal or similar Content Management systems
- MS Windows networks and active directory administration
- Networking and switching
- Salesforce administration/development
- Microsoft PowerBI
- VoIP communication systems

Salary: £22000 - £28000
Working hours are 35 hours a week.
25 days holiday.
Located in Manchester City Centre and within walking distance from train / tram stations.
